Pastor Tim

Without a doubt, Pastor Tim Bailey has one of the most dynamic and diverse ministries around. Pastor Tim is not only an anointed preacher of the gospel, but he’s also an anointed and skilled musician, an extraordinary writer and composer, singer and producer. His multifaceted ministry allows him to, as he puts it, "Become all things to all men that I might win some." Pastor Tim also says; "My ministry is one that I believe inspires hope in the lives of people who experience it. Whether through the spoken word of God, music or generosity, my aim is to give people a glimmer of hope in Jesus Christ."

Pastor Tim attended Shelby State Community College in Memphis, TN and Trinity International University in Dalton, IL. He loves teaching the word of God and is passionate about protecting and defending the integrity and authenticity of scripture against false teachings. Pastor Tim is currently preparing to go back to school to study to become an Apologist for the word of God.

A man of great vision, Pastor Tim understands that ministry should extend far beyond the four walls of the church. He is passionately committed to the call of Matthew 28:19, to “Go ye therefore…” and to impact the world with the good news of Jesus Christ through the preached word of God, music, outreach, evangelism and discipleship.

In 2015, the Lord placed it on Pastor Tim’s heart to launch out and plant a church in the Aurora, IL area. And, thus, Living Purpose Church was birthed and established on November 15, 2015. Within a year, the church quickly grew to over 200 members and has, since then, been empowering lives with the word of God, winning souls for the Kingdom of God and impacting the community through outreach and evangelism.

Pastor Tim is the husband of his beautiful wife Latarsha Bailey of almost 20 years, and they are the proud parents of five wonderful children, Tim, Anthony, Taylor, Tyler and Tyran.

LaTarsha Bailey is an extraordinarily gifted, generous and virtuous woman of God. She serves faithfully alongside her husband, Pastor Tim Bailey at Living Purpose Church.

LaTarsha is a proud graduate of one of the oldest established HBCU’s in the country, LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, TN. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

LaTarsha is not one-dimensional by any standard. She is a multifaceted gift. Not only is she a great accountant, administrator and mentor to many women but, she is also an entrepreneur. She is the owner and operator of a thriving events planning company called Kreations and Events by Nikki, where she plans, coordinates and/or decorates for weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers and more.

One of LaTarsha’s greatest passions is for building healthier marriages. She is an integral part of the leadership team of LPC’s marriage ministry, Woven, where she assists with planning events and ministry services that are geared towards building, strengthening and empowering married couples to be successful in their relationships. LaTarsha also has a heart for giving, serving and helping others. She is heavily involved in LPC’s Outreach ministry and is always assisting in developing new and unique ways in which the church can help those in need.

LaTarsha is a loving wife to her husband, Pastor Tim Bailey and a caring mother to their five children, Tim, Anthony, Taylor, Tyler and Tyran.
